Parse3, leading custom software development company headquartered in Warwick, NY, is proud to announce the completion of a comprehensive custom web content management system to be used across the board for all Church & Dwight product websites under the Arm & Hammer umbrella.
The content management software created by Parse3 provides an efficient way for current and future Arm & Hammer brand websites to be managed and updated. Control of the multiple web sites is now easily maintained from a single control panel and allows management of an optimal blend of dynamic data with static content.
To compliment the new CMS, Parse3 has developed a new web site design in conjunction with Church & Dwight agency of record, Colangelo. The custom CMS and site build were designed to work together to improve the work flow needs for the entire Church & Dwight portfolio. This week’s launch of
ArmAndHammer.com and
OxiClean.com on the new platform, paves the way for future brands to transition over to it as well.
“We are delighted to have the occasion to create another opportunity for our partners at Church & Dwight to improve their efficiency through the use of great technology” said Peter Ladka, President of Parse3.
Peter Ladka, president of Warwick-based custom software development company, Parse3, was honored to receive AVI’s first annual Employer of the Year Award last week. Each year from now on, the Association for The Visually Impaired (AVI), will honor one employer in the region who has not only opened its doors for a person with disabilities but one who has championed those with disabilities in other ways as well. Other distinguished citizens of both Orange and Rockland counties were honored that night as well for their dedication to AVI and to persons with disabilities.
Three years ago, Peter hired Tom DeLuca, who with the aid of a screen magnifier and some on the job training, has become an integral part of the Parse3 web development team. A year later, Peter founded a non-profit organization, called Beautiful People, which provides adaptive sports and activities to children with any kind of disability who live in Orange County.
The Association for the Visually Impaired, Inc. (AVI) is a non-profit organization, serving blind and severely visually-impaired residents of Rockland and Orange Counties. AVI’s goal is to enable those they serve to function independently and maximize their potential. All proceeds from the dinner will support AVI’s employment placement program.

Warwick, NY – July 29th, 2009 – Software development and services company, Parse3, is pleased to announce a custom web development agreement with global giant Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of information for businesses and professionals. The scope of the agreement is to develop an end-to-end customer relationship management platform and single sign-on system for a group of subsidiary websites in the Thomson Reuters family.
This is the second web development engagement between Thomson Reuters and Parse3. The first partnership between the two companies was to create a single user sign-on infrastructure and database for a network of websites that were leaving the Thomson umbrella in a previous structural change.
The current engagement will adapt the previous single sign-on solution for a new group of Thomson websites but in this arrangement, the structure of each website will be overhauled as well. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Thomson Reuters again,” said Peter Ladka, founder and President of Parse3. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to demonstrate more of our strengths as a reliable technology partner for one of the most respected brands in the world.”

As the on-line marketplace becomes even more of an arena for competitive selling, eTailers, like Ramsey Outdoor, need ways to rise above the rest. Ongoing custom software development partner, Parse3, continues to provide the tools and support for them to do so. Parse3’s focus on the profitability of each of it’s clients creates the proper environment for creative custom software development.
By developing and launching a custom application to manage the discounting and bundling of merchandise in their on-line store, Ramsey is provided a powerful promotional tool. With the launch of the new application on
www.ramseyoutdoor.com, Ramsey has full control over its ability to discount items across brands, or across categories of merchandise. It now has the flexibility to offer free items with purchase, discount by percentage or by an actual dollar amount.
More and more, creative internet retailers like Ramsey Outdoor are finding that the return on investment for this type of custom tool is high due to the ease of today’s price comparison shopping. Since Ramsey has full control of the tool themselves, they can make quick changes that reflect the mood of the ever-changing marketplace.
Since Ramsey’s eCommerce initiative in 2004, when the company turned to Parse3 for its entry strategy, Ramsey has realized a compounding 100% year-over-year growth. Realizing the total return on investment of site development and deployment cost within the first 90 days online, made believers out of this formerly brick and mortar-only store. Now with Parse3’s ongoing help evaluating search engine visibility, user functionality, and revenue generation as well as identifying key user behavior and buying trends resulting in important promotional tools like this, Ramsey continues to enjoy growth in profits.

For 30 years,
Baruch College’s Computer Center for Visually-Impaired People
has known that the power of digital technology could also be the key to freedom, independence and a paycheck for the blind or visually-impaired. This is certainly the case for Warwick’s own, Tom DeLuca who graduated from Mount Saint Mary in 2006 and has been working for custom software development company, Parse3, ever since. Each year, Baruch College and the Metropolitan Placement Consortium recognizes employers for granting equal employment opportunities to the blind and visually-impaired, and today Peter Ladka, founder of Parse3, received a “Breaking Barriers Award” for doing just that.
With the support from
The Commission for The Blind and The Visually Impaired
,
AVI
, a simple screen magnifier and some typical on-the-job training, Tom was ready to go to work upon graduation and Parse3 got themselves an enthusiastic 10th member of their team that year. Since Parse3 is located in the heart of the village of Warwick, it even became easy for Tom to walk back and forth to work each day. Since that time, Parse3 has grown to be one of the larger employers in the village and Peter attributes his company’s success to several factors, but most especially to the exceptional work of development team members like Tom .
On receiving an award for employing Tom, Peter replies, “Tom deserves this award more than I do. He has been able to overcome difficult challenges his whole life. We feel very lucky to have him with us. I hope any attention that comes from this encourages other employers to have an open mind about employing anyone with disabilities.”
Since 1997, Parse3 has been in the business of constructing world-class websites that take the goals of their eCommerce customers and bring them to life. Today, the company launches a website that exemplifies how it has grown and added to that customer base to provide custom software solutions for even the most complex and comprehensive needs. Parse3 has become the destination for ad agencies, financial institutions, and many other industries looking to outsource their software development to a reliable American company.
In addition, through the new website, Parse3 emphasizes their focus on improving their clients’ profitability through strategic analysis, creative thinking and of course, great technological solutions. This unique operating principle has given rise to the new Parse3 tag line, Adrenaline for Profitability, and indeed, a whole new exciting web presence for the company.
A customer of
Wigwam Mills would never know they were talking to one of the oldest textile
manufacturers in the country as they sit at their PCs and blog with Wigwam team
members about the attributes of socks.
That, along with a host of other technology-forward features is what
Parse3 has provided its latest happy customers with the launch of their new
website this week.
The direction
was to completely overhaul the outdated site focusing on Wigwam’s new contemporary look and branding message as
well as to add some appealing and useful interactive qualities to the
site. An innovative product search
mechanism was created so that the customer has immediate tools to compare sock
attributes and qualities to find exactly what they need.
This done, as
part of Parse3’s ongoing focus on increasing profitability for each of its
customers, an automated data exchange was set up so that website updates such
as changes in retailer information or changes in catalog offerings, can now be
accomplished smoothly and automatically saving time, effort, and money.
If hard times have hit across the board, Peter Ladka, president of Parse3, a Warwick, NY, custom software development company, has yet to experience it. While most folks are tightening their belts, Ladka, recipient of the 2008 Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce “Growth Award” is enjoying a surprising doubled growth rate in each of the past three years.
Parse3 has, since its inception in 1997, used its unique strategies and expertise to leverage unprecedented profitability for its partners. That expertise has come from an evolution of experience beginning with specializing in websites with comprehensive e-commerce functionality to now providing full custom end to end web-based IT solutions for almost any industry. And now, with the trend in large companies toward cutting their headcount and outsourcing IT to nimble development firms, Parse3 is receiving an additional boost. A scalable, flexible partner that provides high quality, custom applications is the perfect solution for IT managers.
“Of equal importance is that the offshore outsourcing trend is reversing as IT executives are tired of struggling with language, time zone, and cultural barriers,” says Ladka. “We are one of the domestic or “onshore” alternatives that is benefiting from both trends. That’s how we can remain relatively unaffected by this recession.”
