Background
As part of an overall rebranding effort for venerable sock manufacturer Wigwam Mills, Parse3 partnered with design agency MSLK for a complete overhaul of the company’s website. With a more contemporary image and interactive capabilities, the goal of the revamped site was to more accurately represent Wigwam’s updated brand image as the manufacturer of choice for premium U.S.-made performance socks.
Business Challenges
Wigwam had several objectives for the new site: to maintain consistency with its modified logo and product packaging, and to exchange data with its back-end sales and inventory system.
To streamline customer communication and improve the shopping experience, Wigwam also wanted to give visitors an intuitive way to search for products via a wide range of attributes, and to locate nearby Wigwam retailers.
The Parse3 Process
Parse3used visually appealing interactive graphics to carry a single brand message and provide information on the unique qualities of Wigwam products in a highly entertaining fashion.
A highly innovative faceted product search mechanism allows shoppers to compare sock attributes and find just the right product for their needs. And thanks to a new RSS-enabled blog, Wigwam customers have easy access to the latest news and can communicate directly with the Wigwam team.
As part of Parse3’s focus on increasing customer profitability, an automated data exchange now communicates with Wigwam’s back office system to facilitate updates to retailer listings and product descriptions.
